Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase from EL Japan.

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

Customers in the European Union and the United Kingdom also retain any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights available under applicable consumer law. For customers in Switzerland, EL Japan voluntarily offers the same 14-day return period described in this policy.

To request a return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and before sending any item back. We will provide you with return instructions and the return address.

Returned items must be in the same condition in which they were received and should include the original packaging where applicable. You may inspect an item only to the extent reasonably necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and suitability. Where permitted by applicable law, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, defective or incorrect, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a secure and trackable shipping method and keeping proof of postage.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome. If your refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method.

Where required by applicable consumer law, we will also refund the cost of the standard delivery method originally paid for the order. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, such as express delivery, any additional cost above our standard delivery option will not normally be refunded.

For customers in the United Kingdom, you must notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods. After notifying us, the goods should be returned within the following 14 days in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, defective or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible. Please include your order number, a description of the issue and, where possible, photographs of the product and packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider after the refund has been issued by EL Japan.
